Helpful Tips
Here are some helpful tips for better penis health and functionality. Its
amazing how many of these things people ignore.
Lose Weight
Forget the penis for a moment, this is healthy for almost anyone. Today's
society has more overweight people than ever. Weight control has a lot to do
with penis size. What is interesting is that for every 30 pounds of weight that
you gain, you lose an inch of penis. So it also reasons that if you are
overweight, than for every 30 pounds you lose, your penis will appear an inch
longer. What happens, is when men gain weight, it usually appears first in the
stomach. This includes the area of fat that surrounds the base of the penis,
sort of like eating up the base of it.
Eat Healthy and Drink Plenty of Water
This is another no-brainer! There is all kinds of benefits that your body stands
to gain from a healthy diet, and plenty of water. Low fat, plenty of vitamins
and minerals will do wonders to not only your penis, but to your whole body in
general! Fatty foods contain cholesterol, and high levels of cholesterol can
actually clog the blood vessels in your penis, which is another contributing
factor towards impotence. A little zinc in your diet is also beneficial.
Watch the Coffee
Erections are affected by the autonomic nervous system, which refers to the part
of our day-to-day functioning over which we have little or no control, such as
breathing. Since coffee contains caffeine, and caffeine kick-starts the nervous
system, it follows that erections will be affected, too. Caffeine also increases
the blood pressure and stimulates of the heart, so it tends to get the heart
beating and blood pumped to where it is most needed. While coffee does have many
surprising benefits, there are also some downsides that are currently being
researched. A few studies have linked caffeine to infertility (although others
have found no association). Studies have shown that men who consume a great deal
of caffeine (as well as those who use tobacco and alcohol) have greater
instances of erectile dysfunction than those who consume a moderate amount.
Because caffeine is a stimulant, it can aggravate sleep problems like insomnia.
And getting enough sleep is vital, so that you'll have enough extra energy to
perfom better sexually. Caffeine also has a dehydrating effect on the body’s
cells (making them lose water), but at the same time causes your body to
urinate. This two-fold mechanism causes rapid water loss from the body. It will
also cause athletes to have sore muscles and delayed recovery time.
Stop Smoking
Research has shown that smoking not only stunts the height people grow to, it
can also reduce the size of penises. The alarming finding has emerged from a
study at the Boston University School of Medicine in which 200 men submitted
their erect organs to the scrutiny of the ruler. The study found the effects of
smoking on the penis are much the same as those on the heart. It damages blood
vessels, inhibiting blood flow. This effects the elastin, the substance which
drives the ability to have an erection. Elastin stretches in response to blood
flow and smoking damages its ability to do that.
Use It
Have lots of erections. Have sex lots. If you don't use it, it won't always work
when you want it to. Practice makes perfect! Keep it exercised and it'll work
better.
